ENTRANCE WRITTEN TEST, INTERVIEW AND SELECTION:
This year, for World Glaucoma Week, 10.3.2025 to 15.3.2025, all branches of Aradhana Eye Hospitals welcomed the public of Trivandrum district to get their eyes screened for glaucoma. Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness in India. This screening programme was designed to not only examine the patients but also to educate them and their by-standers regarding the disease. A week of activities came to a close on Saturday 15.3.2025. A variety of screening and educational tools were used- live props made specially by our students, state of the art equipment such as OCT Spectralis , Clarus 500 and HFA for evaluation , and expert specialist opinion for every patient who came for the glaucoma camp, all free of cost. In the coming years, we hope that even more patients would avail this great opportunity to screen their eyes on a yearly basis.
On Tuesday, December 24th: OPD services will be available until 1:30 PM only.
On Wednesday, December 25th (Christmas Day): All three branches of Aradhana Eye Hospital will be closed.
On Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 (New Year's Day): All three branches will be closed, but emergency services will be available at our Manacaud branch.

Because of this, most patients are not able to diagnose that they have any problem till it is very late. In response to the recent atrocities committed against doctors across the country, Indian Medical Association in collaboration with thousands of doctors and institutions organized a mass protest this day. Aradhana Eye Hospitals stood with IMA and protested strongly against violence of any sort. Patients with emergencies were catered to. No routine check-ups were done as a sign of protest against this violence. Aradhana hopes for a safer environment for doctors with strict protocols laid down by the local government bodies for ensuring safety of sincere doctors who only want to help all the patients who come to the hospital.
